Okay, here's the deal: on August 4th, some blogs are going to be doing a 24-hour Megan Fox ban. I am going to be one of those blogs. I know I don't blog every day, and even when I do, I never mention that little slut Fox, but I just thought you might like to know.

From Dr. Polidori's Lord Ruthven to Stephenie Meyer's Edward Cullen, the annals of vampire lore are filled with attractive, charming bloodsuckers. Which one would you most want to be bitten by?

That's easy. Lestat de Lioncourt. Or Spike from "Buffy". They at least were REAL vampires (burning in sunlight, killing people mercilessly, not sparkling). Edward Cullen would be running scared from them.

Hello again, readers. Yes, I know I haven't posted in a little while. Yes, I know I'm supposed to be here for all of your fangirl-fueled needs (trust me, I'm working on a 10-day series involving a certain mythical creature with fangs who SHOULDN'T FREAKING SPARKLE, DOGGONIT!) But since I don't mind shamelessly self-promoting, I decided to inform you all of a new community I made:

http://community.livejournal.com/co_bros/

Co-Bros! The LiveJournal comm dedicated solely to the Coen Brothers and their films! Feel free to join!

BTW, everyone already knows this, but Co-Bros > Jo-Bros any day of the week. ;)

Okay, this just cracked me up:

"Giles - We'll get our memory back, and it'll all be right as rain.
Spike - Oh, listen to Mary Poppins. He's got his crust all stiff and upper with that nancy boy accent. You Englishmen are
always so... bloody hell. (Counting on his fingers) Sodding, blimey, shagging, knickers, bollocks. Oh, God. I'm English.
Giles - Welcome to the nancy tribe."

Best. Line of dialogue. Ever. XD

(from Buffy the Vampire Slayer 6x8 "Tabula Rasa")

Okay, so I was thinking, Mondays suck. And cute guys will sometimes make them better. Don't argue with me, that's just how it goes. So, in honor of my dear friend elle_vee (whose brilliant rantings can be read here: http://fearandloathingny.blogspot.com/) and her daily hot guys, I have decided to do a weekly hot guy (because I'm simply too lazy to do one every day).

I've decided for the first one, I'll do someone elle and I both admire greatly:

Zachary Quinto, ladies and gentlemen.

...I'm a Buffy geek. I bought season 1, and I love it. It's campy and funny and awesome and the vampires don't sparkle. I love Giles.  I spent 80% of the first episode just crushing out over him (what? He's attractive and British and played Repo Man in "REPO! The Genetic Opera" and...and...and....oh, never mind). So there. It's out. I've admitted it.

Which brings me to my question: any good Buffy icon communities out there?

If you could be a teenager living in any decade, which one would you choose?

Hmmmm.....I'd have to say either late 60's-early 70's (hippie era) or the 90's (ya know...back when Cobain was still alive). :)

Okay. I know I haven't updated in an eternity. Facebook and MySpace have taken over my life. But I'm telling you, go to Borders and go buy Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It's freakin brilliant. It's Pride and Prejudice, but actually entertaining, because it has zombie scenes added. Zombie. Scenes. Added. EPIC WIN!!!

All right, let me start out by saying I like Danny Gokey. Not only does he seem like a nice person, I think he's talented. I like him better than Kris.

But, come on, Gokey fans! What did we Glamberts ever do to you to incur such a wrath? What did Adam do to you that makes you hate him so much? I have an account on myidol.com (it's just because I like Adam...I'm not much of an Idol fan). Yesterday, on my profile there, I received a comment (which has since been deleted by yours truly) from a violently dedicated Gokey fan about how Adam  was a "****/GAY" and a "disgrace". I had never encountered this person before! It was just some random Gokey fan who felt the need to issue an unwarranted attack on me JUST BECAUSE I LIKE ADAM LAMBERT.  Don't think this is just some isolated incident, either. Check out this blog post from a different Gokey fan: http://myidol.americanidol.com/madshan/blog/2009/05/12/adam_the_loser
Umm...dude? What's with the random, unwarranted attacks? Did Adam, like, kick your puppy or something?

The saddest part about all of this is I know some fully-grown, seemingly mature adults who are guilty of this RIDICULOUS, HATEFUL BASHING!!

The point I'm trying to make is GROW UP, GOKEY FANS! If you don't like Adam, that's fine. State your case like a logical, normal human being; not like some rabid homophobic psychopath subsisting on Red Bull and hatred.

(WARNING: Only for people who have a sense of humor, do not consider "The Lion King" to be sacred, and who have seen the film "REPO! The Genetic Opera", from which springs my brand new fictional character crush, Graverobber...don't judge me) :

Attention Friends--

I am going to marry Adam Lambert. I know he is gay. I do not care. I will find a way.

That is all.

Okay, is Fringe just awesome or what? I almost forgot how much I absolutely love that show during it's seemingly-infinite month-long break.  Good to have you back, Fringe!

Also, I have to give a shout-out to my Art teacher, Ms. P. Yesterday, in class, we got our next project assigned to us: we have to draw a celebrity that our Art teacher picked out for us. And for me, she specially picked out...P!nk. Apparently, I'm "the only one [in my Art class] who can appreciate her". I swear, I have the coolest Art teacher in the world! XD
